Reviewed Bangin' Bacon and Cheddar Scones

"I made these last night for dinner. I am giving it 4 stars because I think the faults I have with it are due to my own modifications. I cut the recipe in half because it was just for my husband and I. They were pretty good, but I think the modification may have thrown off the flavors a little. I agree that they are a bit salty, especially with the bacon and cheese so next time I might leave the salt out. Also, I found them a bit tangy, I think this is from the buttermilk. I might make them with regular milk next time to see if that helps. Overall, very yummy, excellent consistency, and good savory flavor. I had one for breakfast this morning and it was still soft and flaky! I will make them again!
