"My dough ended up very stiff and my cookies were better looking but the dough is very sweet. I too used dried cherries which saved the cookie but I suspect it would be better with a lot more cherries to offset the sweetness. Other option would be to cut back on sugar but that's what gives it a nice chewy texture so it's a toss up. ""
