Reviewed maple sweet potato puree with caramelized onions

Nov 6, 2014 on FoodNetwork.com

These are fantastic. I make them with our regular meals too, but they have become a staple at our holiday table. You can also make them ahead of time and just reheat the day of, which for me, is a life saver and they taste exactly the same. I, however, don't puree them any longer. I did the first few times, but really honestly they are nice just roasted...

Delicious and has so many uses. It is a real compliment to ham, pork, or poultry, as well as in yogurt. I will say I have made this more than once and one time I got unsweetened pomegranate juice (didn't realize until I tried to figure out what went wrong) and it was really, really sour, so make sure the juice has some sweetness. I just put a couple...

Reviewed Creamy Macaroni and Cheese

Dec 23, 2013 on FoodNetwork.com

This is absolutely delicious and CHEAP!! Usually homemade mac n cheese costs a pretty penny with all the expensive cheeses other recipes call for. It was creamy and tasted just like the old fashioned comfort food you look for with a meal like this!

Ok, man oh man are these to die for. The cream filling is genius, I can imagine so many other uses for it also. The cake is moist and chocolately (if you watch the video she sure means heaping on the TBS, I bet it is almost double the cocoa powder called for in the cake recipe). I did everything exactly as written with the exception of the size of...

Delish, I wouldn't change a thing! I baked in two 8 x 4 x 3" loaf pans and it was the perfect amount to make two loafs. I also used an electric mixer instead of a hand wisk for the eggs, sugar, and oil step and it worked fine. I have made this recipe with regular flour and another time with a gluten free flour blend (william sonoma cup 4 cup), bot"

These were very good and easy. Although, they aren't spicy AT ALL, the meat is tender and super flavorful. In order for me to get then "sticky" I broiled for the last few minutes. I think next time I will try grilling them. Great with the pea puree also."

This was really fantastic and it was so nice to have something light, healthy, and different as a side dish to dinner. I will say that this serves more than 4, it makes quite a bit, I would say 6-8 easily."

Are you kidding me? I swore when I taste tested these, that is how good they are. This is a winner. It is a little bit of a lengthy process, but not difficult. This is my husband's father's day treat, I am going to bed so I don't eat any more of them. Make them. P.S. I did the dulce de leche (caramel) in the crock pot."

This soup is absolutely the best French onion soup I have ever had, hands down. I made the recipe exactly as written, nothing needs to change. That is saying a lot for me, generally I change something. The onions needed longer than 25 minutes to be nice and caramelized for me, other than that, perfect. Jul 23, 2012 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

Please use the dried crock pot chick peas when making this. Not only is it super cost effective, they make all the difference in the world with the texture as far as I am concerned. The hummus comes out fluffy and velvety smooth, fantastic. I found I liked a little more garlic and slightly more salt than the recipe calls for. It is a great jumping"

Fantastic. Easy and delicious. I used dried tarragon (2t rather than 2T fresh, as it is hard to find in Ohio for some reason) and just minced a regular yellow onion, added a little salt and pepper too. I served the salad on croissants and it was to die for. One substitution I also make for any chicken salad recipe is I use mostly plain yogurt, the"

Man oh man oh man, this is absolutely sinful. It reminds me of white pizza. This is a perfect for a meal with a light salad. Also, great with soup, as an appetizer or really anything for that matter. Uhhh, I kind of thought this tasted like watered down spaghetti sauce. I suppose that isn't a bad thing, but is it really a good thing? No one at the table disliked it, but no one raved either. I was not happy with the texture after using the immersion blender and thought the oil content as stated was ridiculous. I won't make it again, but it did "

Wow, was this easy. I mean sooooo easy. What a great and impressive side dish for family or company. I am not sure if the wine was an addition I liked so much, but it could easily omitted and replaced with stock. Also, as a general rule with Ina, I halved the salt to start, and it was plenty. I think this recipe is identical to her chicken pot pie recipe except for the biscuits instead of a pastry...either way it is delish. Overall I think this tasted good. It just seemed like too much work for what you get. I can think of many recipes I would rather spend the time on for which I like the flavors much more. If you aren't careful it could get really greasy, definitely drain some of the oil after browning the chicken and before cooking the fennel.
