Replied to Baked Bean Casserole

It is a little on the sweet side, but I didn't think too sweet (and I don't like things too sweet, prefer savory dishes)...but I bet you could tweek it to be less so by decreasing all the sweet ingredients like the brown sugar and even the ketchup. As for the runny aspect, bake it uncovered, maybe let it set up for while before serving, drain some...

My boyfriend just made this last night...it was delicious~we both loved it! He made it just as written, baked it...came out perfect, not a bit runny or liquidy as reviewer below experienced. We ate it as the main dish, (it's plenty substantial with the ground beef in it), with just some crunchy french bread on the side. It's a keeper we will be...

Mmmmm. Eating now while writing. Delicious! I love that it's a "creamy"soup, made with no cream...and therefore low-cal too! This is a healthy, fresh, very satisfying soup. I had been concerned that something as fragrant as mint might overpower it, but not at all...very subtle. In fact, I can hardly taste it so you could probably add a bit mo"

I made this during "the Blizzard of 2013"...sure, this chowder is perfect snow day eating, but would be great anytime. Easy to make and delicious. I had wanted to use reduced fat cheese, but couldn't get it this time; I will try that in the future as I don't think that will take anything but calories away. I like peppers, but like others here, "

I would rate this 10 stars if I could! I just came online to find this today after a friend made this for one of our Christmas parties! Have had the basic artichoke/spinach dip for year's and that's always popular and good...but this one...was like that, on steroids! Took it to a whole new level, and I think, without compromising what is so go...

I think I would try this but substitute feta for the bleu cheese. I like bleu cheese but it can be overpowering (as many said here)...and feta is a lower fat cheese, still tasteful. Hopefully it will go with the figs too, since it will still be "sweet and savory." I have not yet tried it this way, (or at all), but it looked delicious on tv, an"

Yummy and Healthy.
I had to improvise (wasn't running out for chilis in adobo, tho' sometime I'll try it that way too), so I read the reviews & someone said they substituted cumin/chili powder. Judging from the reviews here it's spicier the other way, & wasn't sure how much cumin/chili powder to replace the chilis with, so I did it to taste...it...
