My Activity

Reviewed Chicken, Artichoke and Cannellini Bean Spezzatino

"WOW. This is going into my permanent rotation. I would highly recommend finding frozen artichokes, I found them at Safeway in CO. The plain artichokes vs. marinated really bring the true artichoke flavor to the broth. I used good quality turkey bacon. Wonderful!!!""

Reviewed Basil Pesto

"This is SO GOOD! Will be my go-to recipe for pesto from now on. I used 1/2 the amount of oil, toasted walnuts, and added a squeeze of lemon. FABULOUS!"

Reviewed Cioppino

"Amazing. I used veggie broth instead of fish stock, since apparently fish stock doesn't exist unless you make it! I've not cooked clams or mussels before so I used gulf shrimp, salmon & cod. It turned out FABULOUS. It sounds a bit plain as far as herbs & seasoning go but the flavor is perfect and the fish really shines through. My boyfriend who is not a big fish eater said it's the best fish dish he's ever had. The consistency of the broth is perfect. Be sure to soak up the juice with crusty french or ciabatta bread! Kalamata olives are a nice accompaniment.
