Reviewed Sweet Potato Oven Fries with Avocado Dip

"The spices on the fries along with the avocado dip was tasty. The texture, however, left a lot to be desired. The fries turned out pretty soggy and soft. My husband and I ate them, and both agreed we wouldn't make them again. My husband also had the idea to add more avocado and some yogurt to the dip. We'll try it and see how it tastes. Overall, m"

Reviewed Asian Turkey Burgers

"Tasty but needs salt. The burgers themselves fell apart pretty easily. The taste along with the yogurt sauce was good. I think I will probably use the yogurt sauce (with salt and pepper added) as a condiment in other dishes as well. So, all in all, thumbs up on the tasty yogurt sauce and the burger was just good."

Reviewed Two Sauce Weeknight Lasagna Bowls

"Super delicious. I served w/ some oven roasted broccoli, and what a tasty mid-week meal. It really only took 30 minutes! Nice!"

Reviewed Double Chocolate Zucchini Bread with Pecans

"Not impressed. I baked this to bring as a welcome gift to my new neighbors but am afraid they would think I'm probably not a baker. It isn't awful, just so-so. I've had better zucchini bread before and definitely better and moister chocolate bread. I'd say, if you're curious, try it, but if you're baking to impress, try another recipe."

Reviewed Fish Pakoras with Peach Chutney

"Delicious! This is the first of Bal's recipes I've tried and am so glad I did. I thought it would be more complicated, but took me about 25 minutes, including getting all of the ingredients together. The combination of the pekoras with the peach chutney is so so good. Would serve to company in the future!"

Reviewed Paneer: Homemade Indian Cheese

"Super easy and so good! Even if you don't cook with paneer that often, you can skip the last step and use as a ricotta-like cheese - spread over toast and sprinkle with a bit of coarse salt and pepper, or try with honey and walnuts. Delish!"
