Reviewed Lasagna Rolls

Jul 31, 2011 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

Made these for dinner tonight and they were a screaming succes. I added one pound of Italian Chicen Sausage that I browned to the spinach ricotta mix omitting the proscuitto. Definately a keeper and faster than lasagne for me.

I made this for my husband and he said it was the best he has ever had, even better than his Mother's. I used a container of rice leftover from Chinese take out and it worked out perfectly. I personally am not a rice pudding fan but it was very good with just the taste that I had. There were no problems with quantities. It set up perfectly. I"

Reviewed Almond Crusted Chicken Cutlets with Scallion Beurre Blanc

Mar 13, 2011 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

I had to give this 5 stars because my husband said "the next time I make it make alot" Not sure what what adavis did to her beurre blanc but I've been making it for years and even a simple one is delicious and decadent with the cream and butter. I did marinate my cutlets in buttermilk for the afternoon. It's buttermilk or a brine for 30 minutes....

Made this for dinner last night and we really loved it. Served it over wild rice blend. It was quite easy and quick. Feb 6, 2011 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

This chili was delicious. Makes a lot so if you don't have freezer space or want to eat it for a while, halve the recipe. The cheesey garlic bread she served it with is also really good. A good recipe for an open house.

Reviewed Italian Chicken Sliders with Tomato Jam

Feb 1, 2011 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

Made these for lunch yesterday and seven out of seven of us gave it a "two thumbs up". Just a few minor changes. I purchased thin sliced cutlets, brined them for about 30 minutes, patted them dry and seasoned them with dried basil, oregano and a little evoo. I grilled them instead of sauteeing them. Couldn't find slider rolls so I just used whole...

The party is still going on in my mouth. This was oh-so-very wonderful. Nixed the sizzeling rice, served it over wild grain blend. Hubby went back for seconds, I had to have another piece of pork. Tender, succulent, pretty much butter like. BTW, halved the recipe, just cooking for two. Still plenty of leftovers for another meal. I always halve...

I made the pork for our Christmas dinner. I didn't see the episode. I brined a three pound roast for two days then roasted it whole in the oven. The cranberry glaze was outstanding, maybe better that regular cranberry sauce (and I always make home made). The pork was moist and delicious. Will make this again. A go to company meal.
