Replied to Spiced Nuts Recipe : Emeril Lagasse : Food Network

Thanks for your version of the recipe, which I cut in 1/2 and followed. Still I found that the butter/brown sugar mixture was more crumbly than glaze-like. Flavor is good (I like your addition of vanilla!), but consistency still isn't right, at least for me. Will keep experimenting.

This is NOT the flourless chocolate cake recipe you want - seriously, don't waste your time and instead try this one: http://www.marthastewart.com/344293/flourless-chocolate-cake

This cake was easy to make and looked promising in the oven. But cook time is way off -- I took the advice of others and started checking after 45 minutes......

Maybe try again to make sure you used accurate ingredients/measurements? I don't see how this recipe could turn out "just below average" unless something was left out or changed . Hope you get better results next time!

YUM! Quick, easy and super tasty. I wasn't exactly sure how to peel and devein the shrimp, so I watched a one minute video online, and was an instant pro. Don't overcook. It made plenty of sauce and would be an inexpensive dish if served over rice with a side of veggies. For those saying too much/too little sauce/garlic/lemon, this recipe would...

Quick, easy and tasty. I had two pork chops, so I used 1/4 of the flour/spice recipe, but I was liberal with spics per some comments that it wasn't flavorful enough. I also added some thyme. When it came time to add some of the seasoned flour back into the fat, I used a good tablespoon (and there was plenty leftover if you want to make more gra"

Excellent. Got rave reviews. I also added chopped fresh strawberries (4th of July pancakes?) and topping them with syrup really isn't necessary - delicious."

Super easy, super tasty (and inexpensive!). I started with 1/2 the cayenne, but ended up adding it all for optimal flavor. Spices as listed are not too much, in my opinion. I might try adding some freshly grated ginger next time. Got rave reviews from my food critic friend. Great dish for a potluck or picnic."

Delicious. The only thing I would do differently next time is take the previous reviewer's advice and wrap the roll in plastic film and freeze for 30 minutes before slicing for more picture-perfect results. Also, a lot of my toasted pine nuts fell out after baking. Perhaps rough-chopping them would alleviate this issue. Don't over-bake. Easy "

These cupcakes are easy to make and have amazing flavor. Made them for a party, and got rave reviews. I followed the recipe as written, with the exception of toasting the almonds first (toasting enhances the flavor, I think, and adding freshly grated nutmeg to the batter (because I LOVE nutmeg! I also added a couple of toasted slivered almonds "

Highly recommend this recipe. Some reviewers called it "bland", but I don't think that's possible unless they left out the spices! It's VERY flavorful, although I did have to double the spice-coating part of the recipe to get all 2 lbs. of meat coated. The only modifications I made were: added a T. of flour to the spice mixture to coat the meat"

I made this recipe as written and it was absolutely delicious. Instead of arranging on the plate as described, I made individual salads by placing the marinated avocado and grapefruit slices on top of a mesclun mix, then drizzled the dressing on top. LOVE this recipe.""
