Reviewed Stuffed Mushrooms (Hongos Rellenos de Chorizo)

Oct 21, 2013 on FoodNetwork.com

These were wonderful. I used creminis and parmesan. Hubby went nuts for more. Will add some kick next time. Maybe some red pepper flakes. Really enjoyed the earthy mushrooms. Only had to cook for 15 minutes. Be careful!

I was pleasantly surprised that such a simple "recipe" was so delicious. Even my husband ate it up! Served it with a grilled london broil and we felt lik we were at a fine dining establishment. Another great one. Thanks.

This dish was awesome! My husband is half Spanish and loves when I make tapas. He loved this one. I did switch the manchego for a less expensive Havarti, but the results were excellent! Served with Spanish spritzers, shrimp in garlic oil, fried chorizo and assorted olives. To die for... Thanks Bobby."

I used left over benign/pernil and did the last step with sauted veg and tomatoes. It was awesome. Served with white rice and tostones. Excellent!"

This is certainly my absolute favorite since Goya stopped making their hot pico de gallo. Had to leave out the jalpeno for some of the faint at hearts, but it is a big hit every time I make it. Especially with my picky family!"

This is a first for me. I usually like the FN recipes. I marinated the chicken for a bit longer and it was basically mushy. None of the flavor I expected, although I made the sauce but forgot to put it on the table. Maybe that would have been all the difference."

Reviewed Seared Pork Chops with Grape Sauce

Mar 30, 2013 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

I was really expecting something awesome, but this was not it. I had chops with grape sauce at an Italian restaurant that was wonderful and had hoped this was the recipe. It was just ok. The sauce was pretty tart, so I added some sugar and it never thickened up. Sorry Anne."

This was awesome!! I made it for my fathers 80th birthday and even my young niece loved it. They are all Puerto Rican and usually don"t eat any other kind of food. I switched out spanish chorizo for cajun sausage (gave it a little more kick) and used zucchini instead of okra. I also used good old cajun seasoning. Absolutely wonderful!"
