A great way to use up a whole head of cabbage from our CSA. This was even better the next day! I used apple juice rather than the liquor, other than that I followed the recipe.

This was amazing!!! Where do I start?
1. The Jack Daniel's syrup was fantastic & beyond easy.
2. For the pancakes, I didn't have buttermilk, so I just put 2 tablespoons of vinegar into soy milk and let it curdle up - the pancakes were awesome.

Rather than fresh ginger, I used a little less than a 1/2t of powdered ginger & simply crushed 5 small cloves of garlic. I didn't have any rice wine either - so I added a splash of agave nectar.

I think the agave nectar made it a little too sweet, next time I won't sub. BUT IT'S AWESOME!!! Super easy & fast!!!!"

I should have listened to other people about this being too sweet. It was really good but too sweet. Next time, I'll cut the honey in half."

Very good! I used 1.9 pounds of turkey, so I doubled the recipe for everything else & it made 6 burgers. They shrink a lot!"

Super easy but it was time consuming peeling everything. I used 1 pumpkin & 1 butternut squash that weight 5 lbs together. It came out awesome!!!!! I had everything on hand & that's the best part of it!
