This was so rich and creamy... must be the 5 egg yolks. I used what I thought was 2 pints of blackberries from the grocery store and I'm thinking they may not have actually measured to 2 pints. This was good but I did have to 'spiff' it up a bit, as others have also done. I added sauteed onion and garlic, as well as dried basil and oregano to the sauce. I also used a bit more cottage cheese and sour cream, as others said it came out too dry. I used wide egg noodles but next time I'll try the smaller egg noodles or perhaps penne pasta."

I've attempted chicken fried steak before and it never seemed to turn out right. This recipe was wonderful! Loved how it was seasoned and the cream gravy turned out awesome! The only drawback was that my kitchen was a huge mess but oh well..... it was worth it."

This was fabulous! I used a small package of frozen corn, thawed for several minutes. I also used all pepper jack cheese. The soup had so much flavor and I couldn't believe how easy it was to make. One thing I would differently is to cook the bacon first until crisp, remove, and add later to the soup. I served it with crusty French bread. "
