My Activity

Reviewed Veal or Turkey and Spinach Manicotti

"Made this tonight with ground turkey. I added diced tomato, red pepper flake and thinly sliced jalepeno to the stuffing. I used a cows milk cheese from Italy in the bechemel. Served with a wilted green salad with a balsamic reduction. AMAZING!!!"

Reviewed Yuzu and Mirin Marinated Grilled Chicken Thighs with Chinese Vegetable Fried Rice

"OMG!!! Used chicken breast instead of thighs. Added 4 Tbs of marinade to the rice thanks to an earlier review. Cooked the chicken stove top and as it cooked added marinade to the skillet. Amazing!!""

Reviewed Chef Dave's Polenta Casserole

"With the time involved, I expected WOW. Not so much. I think the base would be much better served by a topping of mashed sweet potato, without the time consuming polenta. Sorry not a favorite.""

Reviewed Rosemary Chicken Breasts, Brown Butter and Balsamic Ravioli, Warm Spinach Salad with Pancetta and Sweet Vinaigrette

"Loved this recipe. Cooked the spinach first and made my own spinach and ricotta ravioli using the sweet vinagerette spinach from the recipe. Served with fresh asparagas steamed in lemon and rosemary. Will definitely make this again. Will also make the spinach ravioli in bulk so I can freeze some to have whenever the mood strikes!""

Reviewed Lowcountry Smothered Pork Chops

"Made this for dinner last night. It is going to become one of our staple meals. I served it with mashed sweet potato and the combo was amazing!!! The only variation I used was to add a little bit of corn starch mixed in non-fat milk to thicken the sauce in the end. Fabulous and easy!!!""

Reviewed Moroccan Spiced Lamb or Chicken

"I am cooking this right now for dinner and if it tastes half as good as it smells, it will be amazing!!"
