Reviewed Salted Caramel Banana Pudding Pie
"BEST PIE EVER!!! My husband and I loved this pie sooo much, I couldn't find the "Fleur de sel" anywhere except online, and it seemed like too much an expense so I subsituted 1 and 1/4 tsp kosher salt and that worked out perfectly after all it's just rock sea salt! Great job Ann looking forward to future desserts, yum!

Reviewed Oh So Good French Onion Soup
"I also had a problem carmelizing the onions, but I think I didn't have the heat up high enough, but still it was the best french onion soup I've ever had. However I toasted the bread separately then cut a clove of garlic in half and rubbed them each, then slightly buttered them, put on the cheese melted them under the broiler and then topped the soup, my husband & I both loved it!

"This was the first recipe I've made of Ina's and it was superb, but I'm glad I only added 1 tsp of salt to the chicken salad and tasted it before adding anymore, as 2 tsp would have been WAY TO MUCH, and would have made the dish inedible. But as it turned out it was great, will definely make again my husband loved it too!

"I've made this recipe twice and it was fantastic, didn't know there was a special recipe for the Sofrito,will try it
next time, used a Sazon seasoning I found at Walmart, and added 1/4 tsp of ground red pepper to spice it up a bit. Oh and the beans and rice is to die for, my Husband loved it!!! A great recipe! I also went to Dee Dee's website and here is her recipe for her sazon;
1 whole onion, whatever kind you prefer
2 whole green bell peppers
1 whole red bell pepper
½ cilantro stalk
1 whole garlic head
1 tbsp oregano
¾ cup white distilled vinegar
Directions
Chop up the ingredients and put everything in the blender or food processor until blended.
