Reviewed Mocha Chocolate Icebox Cake

"This is the best dessert EVER!!! I agree with everybody that is raving about it, and the most wonderful thing - IT IS EASY AS PIE!!! Gotta try this out, thanks Ina!!!
PS: Make sure there are plenty of people around to share, or else you will gain 5 pounds over night, because you just can't quit eating it."

Reviewed Double Mustard Crusted Pork Roast with Jus

"This recipe is "THE BOMB" - in a good way, of course. I cooked an even bigger roast, 7.5 pnds, and all the other things that came with this recipe in the episode. Man, huge success. Had 4 very critical men folks for guests, they were blown away. In fact, so was I. Considering the incredible meal this was, the work it took was not that much. Well "

Reviewed Hot and Sour Soup

"This is genius.... So easy to make, ever so tasty! I used the meat off the chicken that I made the stock with instead of the pork. I also added the juice of one lemon to make it a little more sour. I got this big pot of soup in the fridge now and am going to eat on it all week, that's how good this is!"

Reviewed Stuffed Turkey Meatloaf

"Never ever tried turkey meatloaf, but I watched the show, and I had to. I have to say, this was soooooooooo gooooooooooood!!! Just like the last review, this is a total keeper!! In fact, I am making it for dinner today, thanks Aaron!!! :)""

Reviewed Salmon and Dill Chowder with Pastry Crust

"Wow, what a fantastic recipe. Easy to make and sooo tasty. We live in Alaska and have plenty of salmon. I used some from the freezer that needed to be cooked. Did not make the crust, because I didn't want to go to the store. But I am sure that would have topped it off completely! Thanks Rachel!!!""

Reviewed Tex Wasabi's Koi Fish Tacos

"To keep it short... don't change anything, these are absolutely totally killer fish tacos. We Alaskans know our fish, and EVERYBODY agreed: THESE ARE TOP OF THE FISH LINE!!! Thanks Guy, we always end up scoring big with your recipes!!!!! ;""

Reviewed Grilled Spicy Filet Mignon Salad with Ginger-Lime Dressing

"This was - as usual with Bobby's recipes - a total hit. I used pork tenderloin, just because I had bought some the day before. Delicious!!! Even if you don't have the exact salad ingredients, using the marinade and the dressing goes with any kind of salad, even fruit. Cheers...""

About Me

Living in Anchorage, Alaska, we don't have too many choices of great restaurants. But... we can buy any and all sorts of food, and have great seafood all around us. Hence, I like to cook a lot. A few months ago I came across Food Network, and been watching shows and looking up recipes all the time. Love Tyler Florence the best! Other than that I am a graphic designer and therefore I like good presentation of the food I prepare. Cooking is my fun time, besides my dogs and parrots. So there you have it
