This is an excellent recipe - I just made it and turned out perfect - I changed one thing, used dried thyme instead of fresh.

The best recipe for granola! I modify the recipe by toasting the oats separately from the nuts (I add pecans too) and coconut. I found that nuts and coconut toasts a lot faster than the oats. I also make it with Gluten Free oats for my celiac husband. - Thanks Alton for this tasty granola recipe!

Very tasty! I made this a little lighter with 1/2 cream only and added 2% milk - also added 1 tbsp of GF flour for thickening - cooked it like a roux. Also used shallots instead of the onion. My family really liked this version, I'll be making this again!"

Outstanding recipe Brian and really quick to make! I grilled the corn the night before for dinner and used the leftover ears for this salad. I also added 1 jalapeno pepper in addition to a red pepper and increased the lime juice - this was super delicious side dish next to any grilled meats, tacos or hot dogs!"
