"I give this recipe 5 stars because the end result was amazing. I did not follow the recipe exactly and I didn't have all the ingredients. I made jasmine rice instead of potatoes, and I did not use tortilla because it really wasn't necessary, I wanted something lighter. I didn't have corn in the house so I skipped that too. I substituted 1 teaspoon of Indian green chili sauce for spice since I was also out of jalapenos. I put the salsa directly on top of the sliced chicken with the rice on the side. It was delicious. My boyfriend loved it and we had enough leftovers for another full dinner."

"Amazing soup. I've never been a fan of lentils but I wanted to give it a try. The soup was very well balanced, not too mushy, not too brothy, and the flavors were perfect. I cut the recipe in half and made it for two of us. There are enough leftovers for 3 more meals. "
