Reviewed Filipino Chicken Adobo

"I'm a African American now living in the Philippines (Lapu-Lapu), and i made this dish the other day,and i must say that this dish taste very good. I used Apple Cider Vinegar instead of white, and i used Brown Sugar, and added a 1/2 cup of water, and the smell of our house while it was cooking was heaven. When i do make again, i will brown the chic"

Reviewed Chicken Cacciatore

"This recipe was on time. The only sad part is that i now live in the Philippines and it was hard to find any Capers and Basil to add to this recipe, but otherwise, it was good. The only chicken that i had available was just thighs and drumsticks and adding only 3 tablespoon of oil in my pan was not enough to brown the chicken so i added more. Ove""

Reviewed "Instant" Pancake Mix

"I just finish making these pancakes, and it came out great!!!. I did not have any Buttermilk or white Vinegar, so i just used regular milk. I also added a tsp of Vanilla Extract and graded some fresh nutmeg to the mix. I have one of those "Heater Gun" and set my pan for around 375 degrees and used a 1/3 measuring cup and cooked the pancakes on both sides for only 2 mins. and 30 sec. I got 12 pancakes out of them. The real key to these pancakes is to make sure you don't over beat the mixture. I live in the Philippines now and i really miss A.B. shows."

Reviewed Pollo Frito

"I fried this chicken yesterday(11/23/10), and i must say that this chicken was very moist. I brought a whole chicken and cut it up into 10 pieces and did use an equal amount of lemon juice and EVOO, along with sea salt and marinaded for over 24 hours. I too seasoned the flour with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper. I also cooked this with "Garlic Mashed Potatoes" and frozen Peas and Carrots. My wife, who is a Filipino never had Mashed Potatoes before, and she loved it. This is a Keeper.
