My Activity

Reviewed Yummy Baked Chicken Drummies

"AWESOME!!!! I watched the video and it is just as easy as Sunny makes it look. I didn't have rum so I used about a teaspoon of vanilla instead. I also substituted chicken thighs (w/ skin removed) for the legs. My husband said it was now one of his "all time favorites"! : Thanks Sunny, you rock!"

Reviewed Mini Turkey Meatballs

"I have to say that these are one of my husband's favorite dishes. Always moist, tasty and healthy! Since it takes me about 30 minutes of prep....he helped me this last time to grate the onion. I love love love - this dish. The only thing, kinda funny is that every time....mine turn out more like "meatsquares" rather than meatballs.. : I brown then on the stove top, each side and so forth. They are so soft so they loose the nice round look. Hmmm, any suggestions on how I may go about this recipe so they end up like actual meatballs? "

Reviewed Throwdown's Sloppy Joes

"Awesome...go to dish. I substituted the meat with lean ground turkey. Also, I bumped up the apple cider vinegar 3 notches, used smoked paprika instead, left out the molasses, and added roasted red peppers instead of the other pepper. Also, I just used butter and garlic powder on the bread and toasted. (yes, i find short-cuts) However, the garlic toast in Bobby's recipe is def more tasty! Thanks Bobby!!

Reviewed Pancetta and Saffron Rice

"I've made this recipe 3-4 times in the past 6 weeks...b/c this is one of my husbands favorites. I've cooked it both ways....with and without the pancetta grease remaining in pan. I love it both ways....if you have time, sure...remove it for a leaner meal. I like to splash in some nice white wine near the end,mix and add a little lemon zest as well. Then I add cooked chickpeas (that have boiled for hours in my crock pot) and top it all off with a tiny bit of fresh mint. We love this meal and have entertained with it and people asked for seconds!! Thanks Giada!!
