Make sure you use the wire rack prior to frying to let the extra batter drop off....and double the seasoning for sure. Great recipe I wish I wouldn't have made the pieces so small but I liked everything besides that and they seemed to go over well. Easy and simple to make.""

This is a great recipe. I did 1 1/2 tbsp of olive oil and 1 tbsp of butter to saute the carrots and onions in. I also added 1 cup dry pasta to it and shredded parmasean cheese to put on top of the soup. Giada's recipes never disapoint me or my husband : ""

So easy if you make it as directed by Ina it is impossible to screw it up. If you fall short on lime juice like I did, using more orange juice does the trick. I used a bag a key limes which was time consuming to juice and left me short on lime juice.

I thought it was good my sauce didnt thinken up like hers did and I followed the recipe exactly....My only problem with this recipe is for the expense of the ingredients I was hoping it would be an extremely good recipe. I would make it again but maybe not do as much wine in hopes the sauce would be creamier and thicker.
