Reviewed Individual Chicken Pot Pie with Puff Pastry

It was a fun dish to make. The main complaint I had about it was the crust was so buttery it made it almost greasy. I would have liked a little less butter to make a more crispy crust. Other than that the filling was delish and my boyfriend and his roommate couldn't get enough!"

I always want to kick myself when I don't read the reviews before.. and of course I had similar problems with the consistency of the "dough" and a few days later they are still soft... they taste amazing but the texture of them doesn't give me the candy corn experience that I like... Definitely will make them again following everyone's temperatur...

I thought this dish was amazing and am not completely sure why so many people seem to hate it. I will admit that it is definitely not like the stuff from the box because it was so much better than that stuff can even pretend to be. You definitely need to season it(with salt) to make the flavor of the dish blow you away but other than that I think...

This was a really impressive dish and all my guests loved it so much. The only problem is I thought it was a bit too sweet. If and when I make it again I might leave out the sugar. Or try it leaving out the cream cheese and substituting it with more goat cheese or ricotta. I would really prefer it to be more savory. ""

Reviewed Fresh Fruit Tart

Absolutely loved this tart.. So delicious. I was a little worried about making the glaze to go on top of it since I read the reviews for it were not so great. However, I really think the glaze is what pulled the entire tart together. I will mention that I had difficulty stretching the tart dough all the way out and I used an 11 inch tart pan inst...

Soo yummy... Made it for a class and instead used two loaf pans so I could put the glaze (I made a cinnamon honey glaze - same recipe instead just added about a 1/2 t. of cinnamon and 1 T. of honey and 1 T. of water instead of syrup - because my maple syrup had molded.. yuck) on one and left the other one plain. The only thing I wish I would have "

Reviewed Mixed Berry Pavlova

Ina's pavlova was good, but I have to agree with some of the earlier posts in that it was a bit too sweet. Also even though I followed the directions exactly, my pavlova had a runny liquid that came out of the bottom. I did some research and it said that it was underbaked. I would recommend looking at it before you turned the oven off. "

Reviewed Double Chocolate Pudding

Jun 24, 2011 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

I loved this so much but had trouble with it thickening (even though I still ate the entire batch by myself - so delicious). However, I would still like to know if there are any helpful suggestions to making the pudding a little thicker. I went exactly by the recipe but it didn't seem to get any thicker than a chocolate syrup. "
