"I love this recipe. I believe the low reviews for this recipe comes from ignorance. This is PAN fried chicken. Not DEEP fried chicken. Pan temperature is crucial. If the pan (then the oil gets too hot, you will get burned area where the chicken touches the pan.

Reviewed Devil's Food Cake

"The cake has good chocolate flavor. However, a little dry. We took it out of the oven before the 205 degrees. Next time we will just use the clean toothpick method.

The icing is creamy. But, not as chocolaty as I would like in a Devil's Food Cake."
