Reviewed Sesame Chicken

"Okay, I read most of the reviews before making this dish last night 3/8/11. Most of them were good but some were not so great. I have to say, this is a wonderful recipe for sesame chicken. To those that wrote bad reviews, I challenge you to taste your food while you cook. Recipes are a guide. However, do to using different brands and different ingredients, taste can vary slightly. Some of you asked about finding chili paste. I live in NC and you can find chili paste at Whole Foods or The Fresh Market. I was not close to either one so I just used chili sauce and red pepper flakes. Thank you Tyler for this recipe. My daughter loves sesame chicken and I can finally make it at home!!!!"

Reviewed Mexican Mango Cake

"I made this cake last night and it was very good. I read most of the reviews before making it and discoved most people were having trouble with the mango sauce. First of all, make sure that your cake has completely cooled before adding the mango sauce to the cake. Also, only add about 1 1/4 cups of mangos instead of 2 cups and your sauce will be thick like Marcela's. Lastly, only add a 1/4 cup of sugar instead of 1 1/4 cups of sugar. I hope that this helps people with the sauce. It is really delicious."

Reviewed Brick Chicken with Apricot Couscous

"This is a must try recipe. The chicken was so flavorful and tender. I am not a big fan of couscous but I enjoyed this recipe for the apricot couscous. It is delicious warm or cold. You can even add a vinaigrette and make it a salad. Tyler, this recipe rocks!!!!!"

Reviewed Neapolitan Ragu

"Sorry Tyler - I am a big fan but this recipe is not the Ultimate Sunday Gravy. The sauce was very bland and the total prep for the meal was very time consuming. Just in case you are thinking of making this dish, try Rachael Ray's Sunday Gravy recipe. The red sauce is excellent and it only takes about 40 minutes for the enitre meal. This recipe is a flop!!!!!!!!!!!!
