My Activity
Reviewed Curried Couscous
"Need to add my comments to the chorus. This is just great. Fixed it for a Labor Day diner tonight with grilled lamp chops. I am going to have problems keeping from eating it before the guests arrive! Did use only 1/2 tsp salt and pine nuts."
Reviewed Red Beans and Rice
"We thought this was pretty tasteless, none of the punch that we were expecting. Needs twice as many beans for the amount of rice. ""
Reviewed Brownie Tart
"Excellent. Easy to overbake. Read instructions that the middle will still be soft and gooey. Will definitely keep on my "good chocolate" lsit. ""
Reviewed Pear Clafouti
"As all the others have said, this is easy and delicious. Watch the video to see how to cut the pears. That method probably makes a better presentation than slicing them and layering them on the dish as I did. I used regular brandy and it was still excellent. ""
Reviewed Dried Fruit Cookies
"I was disappointed in these. Sherry flavor was very strong and cookies were not sweet at all. On my platters of cookies for Christmas, these cookies were the last to go. I think they need more color and sweetness, so would add more cherries and sugar if I make them again. ""
Reviewed Crunchy Noodle Salad
"Great recipe and I loved the flavor. I used low-salt soy sauce and ended up adding salt. Also the amoutn of dressing can be drastically reduced. I doubled the pasta and vegetables, kept the dressing the same and still only used about half the dressing. Otherwise a great recipe for summer picnics, etc. "
Reviewed Orange Baked Ham
"Excellent. Kept eating the pieces as I put it on the plate!"
Reviewed Homemade Granola
"tastes great. But recipe should be altered. I cooked the oats for 25 minutes and even that was probably 5 minutes too long. And switched the oil and honey amounts. Makes a very large amount."
