There's such a phoniness about Giada.. However...many of her recipes are very ''by the book'' and do actually come out good if you follow them. This was not one of those recipes.
My family didn't like it.
btw ....the poster who wants Giada to pronounce the ingredient names in English echoes my sentiment somewhat. I am actually bothered...

The children ate it just fine but only after adding a lot of honey mustard dressing. It came out soggy. The advice from others to use a baking rack helped a lot. After a second attempt with the baking rack and after omitting the drizzle of olive oil I got a nice crunch.

My grandmother used to make these all the times. This is hands down the best recipe for dolmades that I have ever tried. My husband really loves them and so do my children. I love the fact that fennel is used. Just delicious.
