Dryheat14 has precisely identified a problem with a good number of "reviewers" - that is, they aren't reviewers. They are pontificators, opiners, and scolds. People shouldn't post a review if they haven't tried the recipe, or a close version of the recipe. That can cause a really good recipe to be rated lower than it deserves because of the uneducated...

I made a half-recipe of the fondue only for my family of 3. It had a very nice flavor and consistency. We used bread cubes and crackers. Will use potato chunks and other vegetables as well next time. We all loved it.
