"I'm reviewing the waffle ony, which I wanted to use with a different chili recipe. I expected this to be more like cornbread-in-a-waffle. It isn't. "So pleased to find this recipe as we had enjoyed it at the Fish House. Like another reviewer, used mostly minced reconstituted sundried tomatoes with just a bit of fresh. And used about half the oil to cut calories. Love the combination of flavors, and happy to be able to fix this at home, so many miles from the Keys!"
"Delicious! Great aromas and flavors. Fennel doesn't stand out but quietly adds to the depth of flavors. Not especially difficult, but the time allowed is underestimated, IMO.
