I was looking for a potatoes au gratin recipe and settled on this one as it was designed for two servings. While I had my doubts about the amount liquid (it seemed a bit much for two potatoes) I followed the recipe with minor variations not worth mentioning and they came out perfect.

I made this dip a few years ago and made it again today. the only changes I made to the recipe was to use half a box of frozen chopped spinach in lieu of cooking fresh spinach and chopping them and I used chopped canned artichoke hearts instead of the jarred marinated artichoke hearts. I of course squeezed out all the excess water from the spinach.

pitiful. like everone else, I followed the recipe to a T nd it was a complete failure. first of all there was way too much caramel and it never dried up and the conconction smoked up the whole house being in a 400 degree oven for 10 mins.
