"To all of those saying the cheese sauce is too grainy: toss it in flour first, enough to coat the cheese. Then slowly add it in, stirring the whole time. This is a technique used to make fondue smooth. It worked for me!

Growing up my dad was the chef of the house. I grew up in the south so I have a sweet spot for southern cooking (though I try to stay away from it to keep my girlish figure ;)). Some of my fondest memories of my father are being in the kitchen with him, cooking from scratch. Whenever I'd go over to a friends house I always realized how lucky I was to have someone cook from scratch at home.
