I followed the recipe exactly. Too spicy for my liking, my husband who enjoys spice agrees we wouldn't make this recipe again. It just tastes like its missing something. Not going to be making this again. "

This is a good twist on a traditional lentil soup. I left out the chile pepper and it was still very flavorful and even spicy. It took about 50 minutes to soften the lentils rather than the 35 Rachel suggests. Also, be careful you use a pot that is large enough, all those veggies add up. "

I thought the dijon added to much of a "bite" to the salad. Also, not enough cheese. I would tweak a lot if I had to make again. "

This was delish! I will certainly make it again. It does have a lot of prep steps, but its super easy. You don't really need a half a cup of flour or 3/4 cups of bread crumbs, so you can cut that down if you want. I used panko and fresh thyme and parsley instead of pre seasoned bread crumbs and it worked great. love it. "
