Flavor was solid. However, don't make the buttercream. It's a lot of work for something that's not really so worth it. The color isn't dark enough. Just sub for your favorite chocolate icing and add some mocha powder or espresso.

My boyfriend is going to love this. I made two to taste test them, and they were amazing! They were crunchy and super flavorful. The meat would be optional though, in my eyes, because it was a great addition but not completely necessary to make a great cheese stick. Thank you so much Guy! I was looking forward to making this because my boyfriend loves BLT's, but the calories were heavy, and in my opinion, the amount of lettuce in the recipe was heavy. This one was a hit. I was a little afraid it'd come out too salty from the olives, feta and sun dried tomatoes, but it was great. I was looking for inventive ways to use the big tin of couscous I got a good deal on, and my family loved it- there were no leftovers whatsoever.

It's a good recipe. As far as the butter content, people need to chill. It's not a law to make Foodnetwork recipes the way they're on TV. The purpose of the network is to get recipes for us to make for our families. You don't get anything out of trashing a hardworking chef on their recipe's comments. Very mature.
