Reviewed Caramel Sauce

Jan 29, 2011 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

Great! You do have to let it do it's own thing. I think some people are sauce makers and some are not. If you don't have the patience to look and not touch then you shouldn't try this recipe. It is fantastic and so easy if you follow directions.

WOW! A wonderful and easy sauce that can make pretty much anything taste like magic. I have made it with both frozen and fresh berries, with and without the liqueur, and with slightly less sugar at times...it is always delicious! I strain mine as well but that is just a personal preference. Try it! You will not be disappointed and neither will...

Easy and tasty. Versatile recipe that can be used on lots of types of fish. I have tried it with sour cream instead of creme fraiche and found it to be just as wonderful.

Reviewed Cauliflower Soup and Garlic and Cheese Sourdough "Dippers"

Jan 29, 2011 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

Great soup. I have used it for dinner parties but also just for family dinners. I do suggest having everything cut and measured before hand because this recipe moves fast. The hot sauce adds just the right touch. If you have a food mill try it on this recipe. It does take longer but it makes the texture fantastic. It is well worth the effort!

Reviewed Stewed Black-Eyed Peas with Country Ham

Jan 29, 2011 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

Pretty good. It is worth making for New Years but I can't say I would keep it in my regular recipe box. Good flavor but not a head turner. I gave it four stars because it is pretty hard to find a good black-eyed peas soup recipe. The ham is a great addition to the soup.

WOW-amazing. I love to make homemade soups but I have never tried green lentils before. This one is a keeper. My family loved it. I like that the portion was large so I could freeze some for the future. The olive oil on this soup was a revelation to me! Such great flavor...Thanks Ina

Jan 28, 2011 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

Really good. If you like tiramisu and have ever tried to make it then you know how challenging it can be. This is a good "break-it-down recipe" to get you through the process. I used espresso instead of rum because I did not have any rum on hand. I thought it still came out wonderful. It might have been a bit runny for some but who cares when...

If you are a chocolate lover you will die for this recipe! It really is easy to make but pay attention to the recipe.
