"I am suprised he did not boil them ahead of time. I am from Miami where yucca is as ubiquitous as humidtity. I have never not boiled them nor seen it done. I was shown to cut out the center "vein" also. His yucca looked good but I wonder how the texture/taste was? BOIL the yucca and this is a good recipe."
