Nicole, did you find the kidney beans were just as good as the chickpeas? I'm worried about consistency and that the kidneys will not be as fibrous as chickpeas, rendering the hummus too watery.

I doubled the recipe for a group of 25 in November of 2013 and I couldn't believe the response. Even my mom loved it (and she can be a wee bit critical).
