My Activity
Reviewed Chicken Tetrazzini
"Yup. Guess I can see why this is Giada's #1 dish. It's my wife's favorite and she asks me to make it every weekend. I even made it for my mom, who is an excellent cook, and she asked me for the recipe, which she hasn't done on other dishes I've made for her."
Reviewed Butternut Squash Tortellini with Brown Butter Sauce
"The sauce was the killer of this dish. I don't mind putting butter in my stomach, but I want it to be worth it. The tortellinis were good, though. Just took a while to make them."
Reviewed Penne with Sun-dried Tomato Pesto
"Another one of my favorite dishes by Giada. Such a simple dish to make too. I add chopped chicken to make this a meal."
Reviewed Penne with Spinach Sauce
"Wasn't a bad dish. Added some chicken to make it a meal. My wife and I both like garlic, so contrary to other reviewers suggestions, we used 3 garlic cloves and it wasn't over powering to us."
Reviewed Butternut Squash Lasagna
"Took a while playing around with the squash, but definitely worth it. This is one of those dishes that will be made many more times in the future. "
Reviewed Roman-style Chicken
"Wasn't impressed with the flavors of this dish. Was just really bland to my wife and I. Was too runny as well. I always use fresh ingredients to ensure I get full flavor, but it didn't matter here."
Reviewed Cranberry Sauce
"I made this for Thanksgiving and it was a hit. Even after Thanksgiving, when leftover cranberries were on sale, I picked up a few bags and made this dish just to snack on. Was almost like a desert for me."
Reviewed Chicken with Mustard Mascarpone Marsala Sauce
"When I first read the title of this dish, I was reluctant to try it. For some reason it just didn't sound appetizing. I can now say that this is one of my favorite dishes! I try to make it as often as possible. Really simple to make as well."
About Me
When I'm not working, working out, or playing video games, I love to cook. I enjoy learning the "why" and "how to" of culinary arts and applying it to my dishes. If I'm going to do something, I want to know why, and make sure I'm doing it correctly. For me, the hardest part about cooking is not having the ingredients on hand, and having to find them in a grocery store. I wish I had a pantry like what is on the show "Chopped"!
