Reviewed Aloo Gobi (Punjabi-style Cauliflower and Potatoes with Ginger
"This recipe is fantastic. I added lime juice at the end and enjoyed it with raita. I have become lazy to add specific spices so I used Ajika Gobi Aloo Spices. As my other posts will reveal I am in love with my discovery of Ajika Spices. It has truely made my international cooking, easy and tasty.
Reviewed Ground Lamb Kofto Kebabs with Pomegranate Glaze, Bengali-Spiced Potatoes and Persian Cucumber Raita
"Since I cook a lot of food almost everday, fresh food from scratch, from all over the world I have a few suggestions to the above recipe. I tried the recipes and confer with the other reviewers - First I would spice the Kabob with Persian spices or adveih, I would use middle eastern pomegranate molases, I would supplement or add to the the panch puran with potato hash spices and lastly I would make true Persian yogurt called mast o khiar. All these spices I have purchased online at amazon or ethnicfoodsco a wonderful online store for international ingredients. The brand name is Ajika and the spice blends are truely authentic.
Reviewed Cucumber Raita
"After feedback from the others I added 1 cup diced tomato and reduced the salt. I enjoyed the recipe. I however have a fantastic raita blend from the Ajika company that I use on a regular basis and I love the roasted cumin and mint in the blend. I love foods from all over the world and I have found Ajika spices on amazon and indianfoodsco. I recommend their spice blends if you like to cook foods from India and elsewhere.
Reviewed Mum's Everyday Red Lentils
"Amazing recipe and a real Indian recipe for lentils. I however am in love with Indian spice seasonings available at indianfoodsco online and I used their Dal Masala instead of buying spices separately. It came out superb with the modification. Thank you for showing me how to cook the dal. I used it with papad and chutney purchased from the same online store.
Reviewed Lentil and Split Pea Dip with Roasted Garlic Naan
"I liked the recipe but I used the Dal Masala Seasonings available at indianfoodsco online.
