Awesome! Being from New Orleans, I like things SPICY! I';ve tried several other Pepper Jelly recipes and have always been disappointed because it';s always been runny and lacking in flavor (even the Tabasco brand is a bit bland). I used 2 cups chopped jalapenos, generic cranberry juice, 2 pouches of Certo, and 3 drops red food coloring. B...

Being from NOLA, it';s been my experience that even shell on shrimp cook within 10 min. Has anyone found the cook time to be too long with shell/heads on? I do agree the heads/shell make all the difference in the world as far as taste - so much more umph!"

You used one cup rice to two cups broth PLUS the undrained can of tomatoes & green chilies? Is that too much liquid?

I so wanted to like this but just not a fan of this one. Marinade gave the chicken a weird almost tough texture. I think the cooking time should maybe be 12 min per side when using the "leg" portion of a wing. Probably won't make again.

Added the basic NO trinity: onions, bells (whatever color you have I used red, green & yellow) celery plus some garlic powder. Pre baked pie shell 10 min. AWESOME. My daughter, who is a 95 lb 17 yr old ate the whole large slice! Two thumbs up!!"

I cut everything in half and used bagged coleslaw mix. Too wet so I added 1/4 cup mayo & it helped. Not a bad recipe. "

As noted the recipe does not specify boiling water so mine came out rather creamy and watery. used sliced muenster & provalone. pretty good for a first try but as usual with all food network recipes, if you didn't watch the show don't count on a decent final product on the first try"

AWESOME! I used sheepshead fish (don't like cod added the minced garlic and just before finished added 1 chopped roma tomatoe. Super tasty and the left overs were even better. Next time I may try adding superfine chopped onion too. Will DEFINATELY be in my regular dinner menu rotation"

this didn't work very well at all. I used a basket style coffee filter inside loose strainer. Took lots of attention, scraping etc for small yield. Flavor was good but over all just not worth the effort. Receipt makes it sound SO easy...guess I should have watched the show instead. "
