Absolutely pefect! Fried mine at 350 for 4-5 minutes. Only made a couple minor tweaks to the recipe- I added some cajun seasoning & onion powder to the cornmeal. I also couldn't find creole mustard, so I used a chipotle mustard instead. Love, love, love the remoulade as well...I plan on using the leftover sauce on some burgers."

I didn't try the dough recipe- my local grocery store offers up a dynamite fresh dough of their own(Festival Foods in WI). That being said, this recipe couldn't be any more simple or delicious- I brushed mine with the garlic butter before & after baking."

The 1st attempt I'd give about 4.3/5 stars...but I think adding a touch of lemon zest/juice, and maybe some cinnamon to the batter would put it at a 5 star recipe. I ended up getting 6 Jumbo sized muffins. Texture seemed perfect to me, very moist & fluffy. I'm guessing people that are having problems with density maybe aren't creaming the butte"

This is the kind of chili you want to eat every time you visit your favorite eatery. Absolutely delicious! I didn't roast any peppers, and used quite a variety(habanero, cerrano, chipotle)- and tinkered with the amounts of the peppers called for. Spent so much time chopping & dicing that I delayed making cornbread until the next day, but the ti"

Goes great served alongside bratwurst! Personally I found that texture difference and fattiness from the sausage made for a perfect early fall pairing. I wasn't too crazy about the baby food texture of the soup on it's own, but the flavor is awesome."

Aug 6, 2012 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

My 1st attempt at cooking mussels...am I ever glad I used this recipe- they were phenomenal! The broth is what makes it IMO- I followed along exactly, used sauv. blanc as my wine. After the 1st bowl of mussels, I ended up taking them out of the shell and eating it as soup. Might not have been the healthiest way to eat them, but it was worth it."

The perfect summertime side dish to almost anything! I leave out the raisins and tomatoes, and instead add dried cranberries and slivered almonds. Such a great combo of sweet, salty, tangy, crunchy, chewy goodness."

May 16, 2012 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

Giving this one 4 stars, but with some minor tweaking it would be a 5 star recipe. I only had 1 28 oz can of tomato sauce, the recipe calls for 30 oz. I feel like that extra bit might make it a tad more moist, which I felt was needed. I also would even out the meat mixture a bit more, and definitely use ground chuck instead of ground round next"

Very tasty! It does come out a bit "pulpy" as one other review pointed out, but it didn't bother me one bit. In fact, I rather enjoyed that bit of texture that remained. The cream is also totally optional in my opinion, this soup is naturally delicious on it's own...but I do recommend adding some parmesan to finish."

This was my 1st attempt at cooking salmon, and I couldn't have been happier with the results! I did not make the accompanying sauce, instead made some cajun alfredo pasta on the side- which I thought complimented this salmon extremely well.""
