Reviewed Tex Mex Chicken Taco Soup

"My boyfriend and I LOVED this recipe! I did end up substituting hominy for southwestern corn since I'd never had hominy before. And we used black beans instead of ranch-style b/c I couldn't find any. But I added a little ranch dressing to the chicken and he really loved the flavor. We couldn't stop raving about it the whole time we ate it!!!"

"I loved this recipe, although I changed a few things. I've never had lamb so I used steak and with the sauce it gave it such a great flavor and made it so juicy. Also, I used cooking sherry b/c I didn't have ruby port so maybe the flavor would be different but with those 2 changes I still absolutely loved it. "

Reviewed Raspberry Rose Pots de Creme

"I love this recipe! It was so easy and really delicious. I did find rose water at Wegmans and I could taste a slight hint of it. I may try adding a little more next time. I didn't strain the seeds out and I didn't mind having them in there. I used fresh raspberries and it was amazing. I never added the pop rocks b/c I ate it all so fast I didn't get a chance to! I will absolutely make this again and again! (side note: I made this along with the espresso chip merengues since this recipe only uses yolks and that recipe only uses the whites so I didn't waste the eggs)"

Reviewed Espresso Chip Meringues

"I LOVE these!!! I just made them today along with the raspberry rose pot de cremes (since each recipe calls for one part of the egg). These were amazing! I used regular granulated sugar and they came out perfectly. I put them on wax paper and it was an easy cleanup. I'm sending them out to my family and friends tonight! I can't wait for everyone to try them. I will make these again and again!!! "

Reviewed Sweet Basil Smoothie

"I really wanted to love this smoothie, but I ended up throwing most of it away. It's such a creative way to use herbs, too. I only put in half the sugar after reading how sweet it is and it was still way too sweet for me (and I love sugar). I really didn't like it but maybe I'll try it again another time and either put in even less sugar. "
