"Very easy to make (which is important to me). Put the marinade in a resealable bag and the steaks overnight. Slightly scored the steaks to get good flavour. Cooked the steaks in a cast iron pan for about 3 minutes on each side. Lots of yummy charring happening :-) and the steak was still medium rare. Definitely worth giving a try and I will make th..."

Reviewed Jim's Easy Mushroom Sauce for Steak

"This was easy to make and very nice :-). Definately worth trying to see if you like it. I kept to the recipe but intend to play with it to make it even better! I used a homemade beef stock so didn't add any further herbs etc except the Parsley at the end. I think other reviewed mentioned the addition of Onions which sounds a common-sense option..."

"This is a easy to make recipe which tastes great! I made the recipe 'as-is' but there is definately room to add your own touch! It is quite sweet, but remember you are using it in reasonably small amounts. I would recommend to taste it every 15 minutes as the flavour and look really does develop during the simmering. Particularly in the last 15"
