Reviewed Beer, Ginger, and Garlic Braised Brisket

Mar 18, 2011 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

Best brisket I ever had. Very moist and full of flavor. I was able to find all my seasonings that I needed at the local World Market store. They even had the recommended beer. I did have to add a little flour to thicken my gravy."

These were the bomb! I cooked them for my super bowl party and they were a hit. I did add a splash of lime juice to the recipe. I also made a second batch using only a 1/4 of the granny smith apple, and added a package of crab meat. My boyfriend loved it. I did have to cook them an additional 15 to 20 minutes to insure the bacon doneness.

This is a winner. I changed only a couple of things, like using dried parsley flakes instead of freshley chopped ones, and I used chorizo sausage instead of Italian sausage. Until now, I had never heard of oven-ready lasagna noodles; it's the best. Yum!

This was a definte winner! My family loved the flavor and texture of the batter. I have used the same batter recipe with Chicken brest tenders and have achieved the same grand results. <3

The flavor was good, but I was disappointed in the texture. My family and I were expecting it to be crispy.
