My Activity

Reviewed Beer, Ginger, and Garlic Braised Brisket

"Best brisket I ever had. Very moist and full of flavor. I was able to find all my seasonings that I needed at the local World Market store. They even had the recommended beer. I did have to add a little flour to thicken my gravy."

Reviewed Bacon-Apple-Jalapeno Pop 'Ems

"These were the bomb! I cooked them for my super bowl party and they were a hit. I did add a splash of lime juice to the recipe. I also made a second batch using only a 1/4 of the granny smith apple, and added a package of crab meat. My boyfriend loved it. I did have to cook them an additional 15 to 20 minutes to insure the bacon doneness.

Reviewed Lots O'Meat Lasagna

"This is a winner. I changed only a couple of things, like using dried parsley flakes instead of freshley chopped ones, and I used chorizo sausage instead of Italian sausage. Until now, I had never heard of oven-ready lasagna noodles; it's the best. Yum!

About Me

I've been dancing in the kitchen since I was about 14 years old.  My mom taught me just about everthing I know.  I'm the oldest of nine children and love cooking for large crowds.
