My Activity

Reviewed Frozen Mango Cocktail

"This is DELISH! I already had rum, so I used rum instead of tequila- cant imagine there's a huge difference in the taste there. Also, I forgot to put the mint in the simple syrup, but I didn't miss the mint in here. "

Reviewed Frozen Grapetini

"The drink tastes good, but it's farrrrrr too strong to serve to anyone who is going to leave your house. I served it at a party, but I used less vodka and added a little simple syrup.""

Reviewed Caprese Tartlets

"I'm not one of D'Arabian's biggest fans, but I have to give credit where it is due. THIS RECIPE IS WONDERFUL! I made these for a holiday party that I had this afternoon. It was my first time making them, but I needed one more dish to make my table look a little better and I figured that the red of the tomato and the green from the fresh basil was ""

Reviewed Corn and Carrot Salad with Golden Raisins

"I tried the recipe after watching the episode, and I felt like something was missing. Soooo, I added 1tbsp of Dijon mustard, 1 jarred roasted pepper (I needed to use it or toss it), and 1/4 of an avocado, cubed (also needed to use or toss it). My additions made the salad a little more filling, and flavorful.

Reviewed Pea Pesto Crostini

"I served these at my halloween party a week ago and people LOVED them. I added a pinch of fresh baby arugala, and a teeny, tiny dash of red pepper flakes- quite tasty. The pea-pesto is also REALLY good mixed into hot couscous.

Reviewed Shrimp Scampi with Pesto Couscous

"This recipe isn't bad. I just used very little red pepper flakes (I'm not big on spicy things)... I did enjoy the pesto couscous. Although, Giada made this pea-pesto crostini- I had tons of pea-pesto leftover, so I made this recipe again, and substituted the pea-pesto, which made it a bit more flavorful. I suggest trying this with Giada's pea-pesto (add a pinch of fresh baby arugala to the recipe for EVEN MORE flavor).
