My Activity

Reviewed Southern Fried Chicken

"The absolute best fried chicken I've ever made!!! I didn't make the seasoning - just sprinkled the chicken with salt, pepper and garlic powder. I used 1 cup of Frank's Red Hot, because that is all I had on hand - but I did buy some Texas Pete's so I could make it again using the recommended hot sauce. I found the hot sauce added flavor and not spicy heat - it was awesome! Thank you so much!"

Reviewed Brie and Onion Puff

"Made for Thanksgiving Dinner - everyone loved it. We had all different levels of eaters at the table and it was a rave review dish by all!! I absolutely hate brie but I always make a recipe as written first and tweak it as needed. No need!! The sweetness of the carmelized onions totally rocked with the brie and puff pastry. Leftovers were enjoyed with the Jalapeno Cranberry Chutney!! Going to make this again today - encore presentation! I love Claire!

Reviewed Olive Bites

"I used jalapeno stuffed olives from Trader Joe's. The show gave you pointers on adding extra ingredients to make it more of your own signature recipe i.e. cayenne. She clearly states on the episode that the butter is to be cold. Much like making a pie crust.

Very tasty and got rave reviews!!!
