The absolute best fried chicken I've ever made!!! I didn't make the seasoning - just sprinkled the chicken with salt, pepper and garlic powder. I used 1 cup of Frank's Red Hot, because that is all I had on hand - but I did buy some Texas Pete's so I could make it again using the recommended hot sauce. Made for Thanksgiving Dinner - everyone loved it. We had all different levels of eaters at the table and it was a rave review dish by all!! I used jalapeno stuffed olives from Trader Joe's. The show gave you pointers on adding extra ingredients to make it more of your own signature recipe i.e. cayenne. She clearly states on the episode that the butter is to be cold. Much like making a pie crust.

Very tasty and got rave reviews!!!
