My Activity

Reviewed Super Sloppy Joes

"These are great. They taste very close to the canned stuff, but 100 times fresher. For those complaining about the runny-ness of the sauce only use 1 cup of tomato sauce. I thought it was the perfect amount. Next time will cut back on the sugar a tad bit, but other than that this is a great recipe."

Reviewed Chicken Spaghetti

"This casserole is exactly what you would expect. Good comfort food. You can change up the veggies, the meat and pasta and have something different each time. I made it with ground beef, broccoli and elbow pasta. This is a keeper. The hubby and kid loved it and the leftovers the next day were yummy."

Reviewed Orzo with Artichoke Pesto and Grilled Corn

"Hands down the best pasta salad I have ever tasted. It could be the cup and a half of parm, but who cares. You can use this as a base and make your own creation. I used all of the artichokes in the pesto. Also, I used pine nuts rather than walnuts because I had them on hand. I added some english cucumber too. Delicious! Thank you, Giada."

Reviewed Scalloped Potato Gratin

"These are perfect as the recipe is written or you can add different cheeses and it all works well. For Christimas dinner I used parm and sharp cheddar and they were a huge hit. A few months back I used parm and provolone. Or just use the parm. Delicious.""

Reviewed Salisbury Steak with Mushroom Gravy

"Like many others, my patties didn't hold together very well. I managed to get most of it on a plate before they broke apart, but after tasting them that did not matter. The gravy is fantasic. I will make this again and even just make the gravy. I served over mashed potatoes. A good comfort food meal.""

Reviewed Smashed Potato Gratin

"Made this for Easter dinner and they were a huge hit. I added more cheddar because you can never have too much cheese! Thanks Anne. These are awesome."

Reviewed Meat Loaf

"This was really good, but I agree with another reviewer that it was missing something. I followed the recipe exactly, but also added about a 1/2 cup of parm cheese and 3 cloves of garlic. I will make this again because the flavor is good, but next time I will try 1 and 1/2 pounds of ground chuck mixed with one pound of pork sausage. "
