I liked it. Personally I would use even MORE cilantro, since I like that flavor a lot. Didn't really taste the pinch of cumin. I'm guessing a half teaspoon to a teaspoon wouldn't hurt. I don't like SPICY, but a tiny little kick I'm ok with. The jalapeno I used had no heat at all in it. "

This soup was missing something. Followed the recipe verbatim. Also keep in mind that this makes quite a large quantity. I would say it easily makes 8 bowls of soup. I had lots leftover. Maybe pre-roasting the cauliflower would help? I don't know or maybe some yukon gold potatoes would have balanced out the flavor?""

Just reviewing the sauce.... Excellent! I was able to easily HALF the ingredients since I only wanted to make enough for about 2-3 people. Also instead of heavy cream I used a half&half with about 1-2 tablespoons of whole milk. Was great for a slightly lighter summer version. I also used a clove of smashed garlic in the sauce while cooking....you "

TERRIBLE!! Nine cloves of garlic? Are you insane??? I followed the recipe VERBATIM and this came out incredibly garlicky. I happen to love garlic, but this was bad. What a shame too, cuz I wasted most of the fresh basil growing in my garden and 1.5 cups of "really good" expensive olive oil and also the expensive parmesan cheese. I had to throw it "

I liked this recipe but I'm just a bit shocked at the overwhelming number of 5-star reviews here....maybe for simplicity? The taste was good but not mind-blowingly fantastic. I'm also surprised that the only seasoning here - besides the maple cayenne glaze - is salt. Not even a dash of black pepper??
Personally, I don't eat chicken skin...
