Add 1 very large pinch flavor and you might have something here. Garlic, thyme, kitchen bouquet, ketchup, steak sauce, something.....anything! Bland, boring and and now deleted.

Cake was moist, chocolately enough after adding extra cocoa. Bake to just barely done for maximum moistness. I understand the love for cream cheese icing , but would sure like to see more red velvet cake recipes offered up with the traditional cooked-and-whipped icing...the true velvet of the cake. If you've not had it, you're missing something...

You know something, if you beat the icing after it has cooled, it fluffs up into this beautiful, velvety, creamy goodness...doubles the volume too.

My husband and I saw this on the tele and it appealed to both our German/Uke heritages and Im so glad to have found this recipe. Can someone please tell me what temp they used to produce the best results? Bread making of any type is not my forte, but Im willing to give this a go. Any comments much appreciated! ""

My family really liked this one and I have made this twice now. For our tastes, the 'snappier' the asparagus is left, the better the flavor. The second time, we added crisp bacon on top and that was delish too! "
