About Me
My husband, Rick, & I live in Quincy. Our town is right by the great Mississippi River.
For fun we love to boat. Any day on the water is better than any day on dirt! We enjoy spending time at the Island Club (that's a camp on an island in the river) with our boating friends. Everyone likes to try new dishes & drinks. I have already found some recipes that I look forward to trying . Our friends love to be ginny pigs for new recipes!
I am a cookbook nut, have over 500! Yes, I do use them. Now I mostly save recipes at sites like this! That takes up no room here at home!! Rick is happy with that!
Favorite Foods
Favorite foods? I'll try almost anything. If I have too narrow it down ...Italian and Mexican and well its all good!
Favorite restaurant is easy, Tiramisu'. That is an Italian restaurant here in Quincy that is out of this world. Very much like the food I grew up with.
