My Activity

Reviewed Grilled Pork Tenderloin

"Everyone loved it - subbed hatch chiles for chipotle but everyone agrees it was the sweet and sour that makes it so good."

Reviewed Yakisoba

"Everyone loved it! I agree that I could have cooked the noodles a little less. Had trouble finding rice wine, so I substituted what sherry I could find at the store. Looking forward to heading to the Asian market and picking up the real stuff. Used crushed ginger paste from a tube as well."

Reviewed Ring of Fire Grilled Chicken

"My wife said it was the best grilled chicken she's ever had. I really enjoyed cutting the bird up too! My kids didn't even ask for barbeque sauce. Don't do the salt in the brine by volume (as stated many times), do by weight and it's fine. I used a Weber gas grill and started on the front but left the back burners off and moved there as things"

Reviewed Tuna Croquette

"Cheap, easy, delicious. My kids 8, 10, 12 ate them up. We put them on little buns and it was croquette sliders!"

Reviewed Poached Eggs

"Perfect. Agree that watching the video is recommended."

Reviewed Fish Taco

"Had no patience for crema but just blended a chipoltle into plain yogurt. Family says 5 stars though I thought it more 4."

Reviewed Pressure Cooker Chili

"When we lived in Austin TX, I served this at a lunch party my wife's work was having. The pot was empty in 30 minutes, and the vending machine was sold out of Fritos, too! You don't need to use a pressure cooker, I use a crock pot and just let it simmer overnight... it's delicious! Agree about the unsalted chips, be careful with the salted ones.
