Absolutely delicious. My daughter is a vegetarian, so I wasn't sure what to do because I usually use a couple slices of bacon. I sure didn't miss it, these were wonderful. Although, I now realize I forgot to add the tomatoes, no matter. I, of course, had to sprinkle a few drops of vinegar and in this case it was red wine. Thanks Sunny!

Very good! We're vegetarians, so I didn't put any meat in it but it was amazingly flavorful. I tried,grating the potatoes, as one reviewer suggested, but since I only have a blender, they were a blended soupy mess. I graded some potatoes by hand and used the blended ones as well. I think I stumbled,upon a,great soup thickener.

This is the best mulled wine recipe that I've ever tasted. I've tried several and somewhat liked them but they seemed a bit strong (and I love red wine.)
