The first time I made this, I almost left the sausages whole, but I continued to follow the recipe to the letter. I am so glad I did; cutting the sausages is key. You have "the perfect bite" every time. And you MUST do the oil thing with the bread. Rachel has it covered, so don't skip a single step. It's a great recipe that even my bf compare...

Reviewed Shepherd's Pie with Mushroom Onion Gravy

OMG!!! This recipe is AWESOME! You don't even need the gravy; but I can tell that's gonna be good. I messed it up because I tried to sub the wine with red wine vinegar :( I even like the mashed potatoes alone. Easy to prepare, and I have a small kitchen. I will make this recipe again and again. My picky eating 7 year-old even likes this dish....
