This recipe is amazing! I usually don't have buttermilk but substitute sour cream/whole/half n half plus water to equal the same total volume. It is a basic recipe but I prefer that as my exact recipe following skills are abysmal. We have it with chili or soup beans and then usually have a second piece with our farm raised honey and butter. "

Oh my! This salad was amazing. My picky husband practically licked his bowl. The parsnips and carrots were so soft and sweet next to cool pear and crunchy walnuts! yum! I made a couple modifications for preference and pantry. Romaine for arugula, vidalia for pearl onion, and white wine vinegar for apple cider vinegar. "
